Felicity Williams - Managing Director

Felicity has a B.Mus. (Hons) in Music Composition from the University of Canterbury and over the last 30 years has written lyrics and music for over 500 children’s songs.

Winner of numerous awards both nationally and internationally for composition, Felicity’s work has been recorded and published both in New Zealand and overseas.

Most recently she has been musical composer, lyricist and Director of Child Performance for Papageno Productions, The Dress-Up Box, a multi award winning live action preschool programme produced for TV3 in New Zealand.

In 1994 she established Mozarts Performing Arts, The Kindergarten, and followed this a year later with The Drama School. The children who participate in this dynamic arts rich education provide the talent base for the television company and the school also has a pivotal role in workshopping, trialing and evaluating new projects within the children’s television genre at the pre-production phase.

Felicity is grateful for a childhood, which allowed undisturbed playtimes in the backyard. The spontaneous seeking out of imaginary works and their accompanying rich mythologies, now provide a constant source of inspiration when writing and developing ideas for children.

David Gregory - Costume Designer

David taught himself to sew as a teenager, and encouraged by his grandmother with the finer details of tailoring and hand stitching, developed a natural talent for couture and design. He has had an immensely varied work history starting out as a window dresser in fashion and fabric retail outlets, progressing to display manger for major stores in the city. Later on his love of fashion and fabric saw him working as Wardrobe Manager for Television New Zealand.

He worked in wardrobe for many shows over the next decade, including “Allo Allo”, “Starlight Express” and “Cats”. Currently David runs his own costume hire business called “Pandoras”. This not only enables him to design and create for theatre and film, but also allows time to add to his ever growing collection of vintage clothing and haberdashery.
